Blog optimization is the best ways to get Google’s top spots very quickly. You can hit number ONE on Google in a matter of days. But, you must follow next instructions:
1. First, find a good blogging tool. There are plenty out there. I use Blogger. I picked it because it was so quick and easy to setup and also Blogger owner is Google. I realized the platform does 70% of SEO by default. It's free; you can get thousands of themes also for free. You can add banners, Google Adsense ads, other html and JavaScript code for free (I inform you this because if you choose free wordpress.com platform you can’t add HTML or JavaScript by default).
2. Next, if you choose another hosting provider (not free Blogger or WordPress) choose WordPress 2.5 blog app (download platform from wordpress.org) and make sure your hosting provider can support your blog. If you are newbie, search Google for "WordPress blog hosting”. You'll find great packages that cost min from $20 to $30 for a year. Just avoid the freebie hosts since you are almost guaranteed to be sharing server space (and likely an IP range) with sites banned by Google, which can cost you your ranking. In this blog, I choose free Blogger host and I register only my domain name, in my other blogs I use WordPress 2.5 app with atspace.com hosting.
3. If you use WordPress 2.5 app, when your blog app is installed, turn on the "permalink" option from the control panel. This ensures each posting you enter will also get its own URL. Start entering postings of 200 words or more, focusing on only one or two keywords per post. Try to begin each post title with the primary keyword for that topic. The last is most important.
4. Optimize your keywords and content follow the steps outlined in SEO cbt's release "Google Domination". It is a free computer based training module for. It is not specifically for blogs but all the information is perfectly suited to them.
Special Tip: Register your domain name for a five year period or longer. Or, extend it if needed. Google check those records (whois) and assumes the longer the domain is registered in advance, the more "real" the site is.

Blogger enables you to host your blog on their server for free. As a very simple use interface system, even a novice with absolutely no programming or blogging experience of any kind, can be fully operational in a matter of minutes. The procedure for starting a blog is very simple, and takes only minutes to complete.
