How to speed up menus in Windows XP

Menus in XP sometimes can be really slow. That depends of how many programs you run at the same time, your computer memory capacity, disc speed or other hardware configuration. So, if you want to speed up your XP menus and don’t want to upgrade you computer hardware this is tip for you. This tip will speed up the menus in XP. Follow the instructions below and then restart your computer.

Steps:

  1. Go to Start > Run > Regedt32
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
  3. Locate the key called "MenuShowDelay" and its set to 400. Change it to 50.
