Microsoft sends questionnaire to its chosen users (this is rumor of one of them) about new environment which can start up your “Instant On” Windows for 8 seconds. They call the new environment “Instant On” and with this scenario your computer will be usable for eight “8” seconds. With that environment you would have ability to browse the web, do instant messaging, watch DVD and listen to music, but you would not have full access to windows and other your applications. This means that you would have access to your files and configuration data. You will be limited just for executing and using applications chosen in instant scenario.
Similar technologies are already seen at Asus and Dell portables. There is not official announcement from Microsoft, but, for sure, questionnaire means something.
