VirtualBox 2.1 from Sun Microsystem, new version release

Sun Microsystem announces new VirtualBox 2.1. release with a lot of interesting improvements. This version is a major update.
For those that don’t know - VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software.
New release has additional support for 3D acceleration via OpenGL (still in experimental phase and it is available only for Windows XP and Windows Vista). There is a lot of significant performance improvements in GUI, performance increasing, changes in API, a lot of bug fixes for Windows, Linux and Mac OS, etc.
