When you are corresponding via e – mail with a large number of people, it is impractical remembering all of their e – mail addresses. That is why almost every e – mail browser has the option of entering the address into the address book. In order to find the address of a certain person easier, it would be smart to tag additionally certain contacts in your address book with the picture.

Microsoft Outlook saves all the contacts’ information into a special folder named Contacts. It is not necessary to fill in all the fields when entering a new contact, since you only need the person’s name and e – mail address for the e – mail communication. If there is some information that you don’t know of, or they do not exist, it is not necessary to enter it. Naturally, if you wish to use Outlook’s Contacts folder as your primary address book, it is recommendable to enter as much personal info as you know it (for example, address, home phone, birthday date). That way, you can store any contact information about a certain person in your Contacts folder and its picture as well. You can add the picture to a single contact in the Contacts folder, and it will remain visible in not only the contacts’ list, but also when you are reviewing the incoming messages of the person referred as well, precisely in their header.

Adding the contact’s picture
When adding the picture to the contact’s profile, the picture size automatically changes, so that it could fit into the space reserved for the contact profile’s picture. To add the picture, you need to open the given contact, choose Contact in your toolbar, and choose Picture –> Add picture under Options category.

Changing the picture
To change the picture, you need to open the given contact, choose Contact in your toolbar, and choose Picture -> Change picture under Options category.

Removing the picture
To remove the picture, you need to open the given contact, choose Contact in your toolbar, and choose Picture -> Remove picture under Options category.
