How to Change Your Default Wallpaper Folder in Windows XP

If you want to change your default wallpaper folder in Windows XP here is easy tutorial:

  1. Go to Start then run, enter regedit and pres Enter
  2. From the left menu choose:
  3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
  4. Next, from the right menu double click to WallPaperDir like on picture, and on edit window enter your new wallpaper folder location.
Press OK and that’s it. You can use your picture folder or any other as a default wallpaper folder for Windows XP.
