The Google Chrome developers have released a developer version of Chrome for Linux. Installing Chrome on Ubuntu is quite easy. Download .deb files from here according to your Ubuntu version and double click on downloaded .deb file to install Chrome browser.

This is developer version of Chrome browser, so it doesn’t come with Flash support yet. Anything else work pretty smooth for developer version. We hope that the final version will be released very soon with all benefits of Google Chrome for Windows OS.

In my opinion, Google Chrome is faster than Firefox, and Firefox developers will have taught development period to produce faster browser than Chrome. So we will have interesting Browser war that will bring to us, end user just better and faster browsing.
