I found this site today at StumbleUpon. When I visit its page I was surprised of simplicity of web design and their slogan “take back the web”. At first I thought that this is site about net neutrality which I am a big supporter. MashLogic is tool for net neutrality supporters! MashLogic is a Firefox extension that works discretely under every loaded page in Firefox. This discreet tool underlines all kind of information and media you care about. As MashLogic said on their site: “It's respectful of your privacy, and super simple to use.“
To use this tool you must download it and install it as Firefox plug-in (it is private beta today and at this moment there is no download option – just preview of its work online). To get it you must be invited – submit your email on MashLogic site.
MashLogic plug-in will work without toolbar. To set it up, you simply change the settings to tell it what kind of information you’d like to have included on web pages. The settings are list of “mashes”, as MashLogic call them. Users can configure these to personalize the application. You can simply check/uncheck one or more mashes to get info that you want on loaded pages. There is links to Wikipedia, company links to LinkedIn, currency converter, etc. It’s like scout little knife with everything on it.
