Ubuntu 8.10 is now feature-frozen, ubuntu team stop with introducing new features, packages, and APIs, and concentrate on fixing bugs. The final release is on track for October 30th. An up-to-date list of the new features has been posted on the Ubuntu Forums.

Development of Ubuntu 8.10 started with the Linux 2.6.26 kernel, but recently, ubuntu team decided to use the 2.6.27 kernel to avoid updates of the older kernel with things already in 2.6.27. The new kernel is stable but it needs to be tested until Ubuntu 8.10 kernel freeze on October 16th.

What a failure you are, you delete my post? Because I pointed out that you plagerized?

Dear exsecrabilus!

The comment is deleted because it is not relevant to the post and DetectorPro have the right to moderate users comments.

DetectorPro is news portal and every similarity with other news portal is accidental.
However "Ubuntu 8.10 is now feature-frozen" is big news and I hope that you don't expect DetectorPro to be unique with that content(as DetectorPro editor I like that:) ). I personally check the other post that you point as plagiarism and that is not true.

Best regards,
Ukion
