10 minutes to full recharge with Toshiba’s SCiB

Toshiba presented a prototype of super fast charging notebook battery at CEATEC (Cutting-edge IT & Electronics Comprehensive Exhibition). Toshiba demonstrate this prototype quickly charging a Dynabook which was one of the most visually stimulating demos of the exhibition.
New Toshiba battery is based on lithium ion battery and new derivate of technology named SCiB - Super Charge ion-Battery, which, it claims, can recharge 90% of the battery's energy capacity in just ten minutes, which is 60 times faster than the other lithium ion cells.
For another 10% battery use "trickle charge" system to complete recharging which takes few minutes more.
