Don’t tell Asus we said this, but the company’s new Asus Eee PC S101 notebook will likely end up in quite a few corporate settings. Why? It delivers better dimensions and hardware integration than many business portables!
Asus Eee PC S101 is the smallest, but also the most expansive portable notebook in popular line of netbooks.
The model Asus Eee PC S101, which we tested, even resembles a good middle management notebook - dimensions 264 x 180 x 18-25 mm, weight 1kg, 10 inch screen with resolution of 1.024 x 600 px, processor 1.6 GHz Intel Atom. This portable notebook has 1 Gb RAM and integrated graphic with SSD capacity of 16, 32 and 64 - by choice. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, web cam, memory card reader and multi-touch touchpadare also included.
Asus Eee PC has 3 configuration versions:
- Windows XP, 16Gb SSD and SD card with 16 Gb for $700,
- Linux, 32Gb SSD for $700,
- Linux, 64Gb SSD for $800.
