Windows XP tip. If you like to speed up your Windows XP operating system and if you have 512 Mb or more of memory, you can increase system performance with doing following few steps. Speeding improvement can be done by having the core system kept in memory.

  1. Start Regedit
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\DisablePagingExecutive
  3. Set the value to be 1
  4. Reboot the computer
