Avidemux is free software for cutting, filtering and encoding video task. This video editor supports a lot of video file types, including AVI, DVD compatible MPEG files, MP4 and ASF, and use a variety of codecs. Tasks in Avidemux can be automated using projects, job queue and powerful scripting capabilities.
Avidemux is outsource and it can be installed and used on Linux, BSD, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows under the GNU GPL license.
To improve functionality and stability of this open source software the creators said that every bug report is welcome!
