Internet Movie Database (IMDB) is the biggest and most popular online movie database with info for almost every movie and documentary ever filmed, also actors, directors, scenarists etc. IMDB recently started a free streaming service for 6000 movies and documentaries and other video content, supported by Hulu.com, CBS, Sony Pictures and many independent movie producers.
The service gives upload opportunity for independent film makers in duration of 45 minutes or 850mb for a movie. In near future the movie duration and size will be increased.
Hulu.com is joint venture project of Fox, NBC, and more than 50 TV and media companies. The main purpose of Hulu service (the service has the biggest base of legal TV content) is competition for a very popular iTunes. The Hulu service allowed only streaming video without downloading the movies on your computer. The Simpsons, Buffy – the Vampire Slayer, The Big Lebowski, Ice Age, NBA and NHL seasons and more video content from older and newest date is available on HULU. The service has high video and sound quality.
Hulu.com is not protected but has one problem. It’s only allowed in USA, but, where is the problem, there is a solution..
You can go around the Hulu protection with installing the free Hotspot Shield program. The main purpose of the software is protection of private wi-fi networks. Hotspot Shield is hiding your IP address so Hulu service can not geographically locate you and activate protection. The result of all this is unlimited access for all videos on Hulu service. The program is free but it will show commercials in upper part of your browser. With deactivation the commercial will be off too.
