In the chaos that prevails around the presentation of Windows 7, Microsoft announces important news for all Vista users.

At the official blog, Microsoft announced that a second service pack for Vista - SP2, attain the status of release candidate (RC).

For testing, members of the MSDN and TechNet update is available since yesterday, and in the "very near future" will become available to all, reported Microsoft. It is expected that the complete version of service pack will be launched during the spring, probably in April.

Besides increased security and better performance, Vista SP2 will bring new capabilities such as support for recording Blu-ray media, Bluetooth 2.1 and simpler interface to access Wi-Fi networks.

Also, the installation of Vista SP2 in general should improve the performance of Vista.
