You can speed up loading of Windows Vista with very simple and easy steps in just a couple of minutes! The trick is in disabling the user and password prompts and load user account without asking for password every time when Vista starts.

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Type "netplwiz" (without the quotation marks) in the search box and hit the Enter key. This brings up the Advanced User Accounts panel.
  3. Find the "Users" tab and click it if it is not active. You should see a box marked "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." Uncheck this box and click the "Apply" button to make the changes take effect.
  4. Vista will prompt you to enter your current password. Add current password and then click on "OK."
That’s it! Vista will automatically load your user account without asking you for your password. Pressures time is saved and you will notice speed increase every time then Vista starts.
